The Swindle is a Steampunk Cybercrime Caper about breaking into buildings, hacking their systems, stealing their cash, and quickly running away again before the police show up. All the properties you'll be stealing from are procedurally-generated, so you'll never get the same level twice. Back at your rickety airship up in Outer Space, you can modify your thief with new Skills, Tools, and all manner of advanced technological Horrors, allowing you to take on bigger buildings with better security, for gargantuan Rewards!
The idea is that you play yourself, up in your Airship, running your little Thieving Empire. The guys running around the levels are thieves for hire. If a thief dies or is caught, you hire a new one. The thieves are randomly generated as well, so when you've got a really cool-looking thief with a badass name and a load of experience, and they die on a heist, it's completely gutting. Have you got what it takes to pull off The Swindle?
